please verify if your registration took. A lot of times I've registered names that were hot premiums because the registrars says it was available BUT yes BUUUT the registrar keeps your money interest free till they say in a few days that sorry it was registered in error and the send you the refund...

I've gotten that with godaddy a quite a few times...

I think if they cannot verify that it is available they'll assume it is available, make the sale now then fix it later (interest free).

Thanks for the info louddrums. I was thinking along the same lines yesterday so I called Godaddy and they said it is "registered" under my name now, but like you said I'm not really going to hold my breath. I guess we will see what happens.

clearly you did not hand reg this domain (I would've committed harakiri if such a name was available to hand reg. Its a xxxx name easy).

in plain english, the Whois states that it was registered in November 2006.

Hence it could've not been hand regged a couple of days ago (as OP said). More than that, its regged to Pool.com, hence its currently in an auction or will be in an auction soon (I'm too lazy to check Pool for that).

If you can do this, it looks good. Then add the domain to your parking service and check that a parking page shows (nothing shows now). If it does, congrats!

I tried this yesterday and both of my .mobi's did not show up and have yet to show up. However both are listed in my domains by proxy account. The GoDaddy rep did say it might take a few days so I will wait it out, and if I come to find out that GoDaddy made a mistake…then I will move on, no biggy. I can however prove I reg'd the site using the email GoDaddy sent me and the receipt I printed... if need be.

By the sounds of it, GoDaddy messed up and I will be getting a refund back. Either way I will keep everyone updated.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to post. In case you can't tell or have not noticed, this is my first appraisal. Also, to top it off I just started about a month ago and I can't stop reading, reading, reading and buying.
