Getyername.com ??? Strangest registrar ever?

So I won another auction at Snap. They forward me the email telling me it's at getyername.com. I head over there and arrive at what appears to almost be a blank page???

Most awful looking register I've ever seen. No interface what-so-ever, no way to see what domains you even have stored there, nothing.... They don't even have price lists for renewals. It's literally a blank page!!!

I'm scared

Immediately tried to transfer it out but they won't let me for 2 months. I have this sinking feeling that after 2 months I'll go back and find that weird empty page has disappeared completely!

Please tell me someone else here has had experience with them and they're not a scam or anything... If they're legit they need some serious web design help!

I really need to start checking where names are at before bidding lol.

I just have one in there which I got from snapnames, the website did'nt look anything like it does at the moment

Getyername won a snap auction for me in May 2007. I sold the name in August, and gave the username/password to the buyer, advised him to transfer out. The transfer failed, problem with auth code and/or unlock and/or lingering association with my email address. I didn't save detailed notes. (Buyer was a full time IT professional, fully capable of completing a domain transfer.) Buyer asked me to resolve it, I entered a web trouble ticket, problem resolved, name transferred to buyer. I remember a strange control panel. Nine days elapsed from sale to name transfer. At least the story had a happy ending.

Hmm. No ICANN accreditation. In that case I definitely wouldn't touch them.
