Getting a dot com as well

Big hi to all

This is a stupid question I know but here goes

We have a domain name called http://www.swapshop.co.nz we also now want to get http://www.swapshop.com but this is taken.

The current owner of the domain doesnt response to our emails. They have a redirect to another site

I guess if they dont want to sell then thats thats unless there is another way.

I know the pains of trying to even get a domain owner to respond to an offer using the WhoIs data. I often doubt they are even getting the emails using their WhoIs data... as many don't seem to keep it updated like they should.

Anyhow, I just checked and SwapshopClassifieds.com was available... have you considered adding a few similar names (like this one) starting with the .com version and then pointing them all to your website? It might be a good option for you?

SwapShop.com is reasonably famous, and I used to use it myself.. they definitely wouldn't sell so that idea is out.
