GetTemplate.com: The plan

hi everybody!
this is my first post here so let me introduce myself and my website here. So, I'm a web designer (usualy) and programmer (rarely). As I remember I'm designing websites for about 5 years now and finally decided to run my own webtemplate business. I'm talking about gettemplate.com.

My plan for that site is quite simple:
1. By this autumn make 30 free templates available to everyone.
2. In the next 6 months make another 30 templates available to subscribers only (subscription is free).
3. When done, continue adding new templates in each section on the regular basis and from time to time offer premium (paid) templates to subscribers.

What you think about this plan?

Nice site boss, I think it's a good idea. Maybe you could design sites for other people (at a charge) and build up a little portfolio of what you have done for them as well, it could worth it so you get a little extra income while your giving out free templates.

fortunately there are few people who bring me new clients from time to time which is very helpful. As for GetTemplate, I think it can be and must be a place where designers (not just me) meet clients... but definately this plan is for the distant future. At this time the problem is how to promote the site (in addition to making new and new free templates )
