Get Paid $80k To Blog For One Year

There is currently $1687 in the Blogger Fund. When the fund is full, one blogger will be offered a job to blog full time on any topic for one year. This could be you!

How does it work?

The rules are simple: anyone who would like can enter the competition. All you need to do is create a profile on this site, donate to the Blogger Fund, and start collecting votes for your profile. The competition will end when the Blogger Fund reaches $160,000 or Jan 1, 2008, whichever comes first. In either case, when the competition ends, the person will the most votes will be offered the job.

What will the winner receive?

The winning blogger will be offered a contract to work on his or her own blog full time for one year. The blogger will be paid $80,000 in even bi-weekly installments, just like a regular paycheck.

This competition is for you to work on your blog. You can blog about any topic you want. In fact, when you sign up, you are asked to link to the blog you want to promote.

Hmmm... This sounds great for a competition for a blogging job. $80k sounds great to me, But I wonder how crediable this company is. I guess off to do some research, cause it has peaked my interest.

I entered as no "donation" is required but from the outset, looks to be he's hoping to cover it with donations, etc as you might on a word cloud or pixellotto type scheme. Dunno.. I have a banner on dav1d.net to get votes.. didn't invest anything at this point so nothing to lose and $80k (potentially) to gain.

Be nice to see a forum blogging competition like this.. I'd be up for it :lol:

Thanks for the congrats.. yeah, I posted this elsewhere too and got a few people thinking.. maybe everyone could put $5 in the pot then the winner split the jackpot after a specified period.. ?? (I already made about $1k in the last 2 couple months from posting and SIG links.. :D)
