I just purchased Get-Money-Online.com, and I would appreciate your insight into the value of this sought-after domain. All the extensions (including .net, .org and .info) have already been snatched. The domain can be used for anything related to the lucrative 'making money online' market; examples being a blog, incentive websites, or a sheer guide to making money over the Internet. The keywords are absolutely terrific, yielding roughly 63,000 results when searched in quotations, or 29 million when searched without. The domain’s keywords target one of the highest paying Adsense categories (averaging $3.54 CPC) with utmost advertiser competition, as can be seen here (Adwords’ Keyword Tool). In either case, I do hope that you realize the sheer benefits on just SERPs with having a domain like this; especially in a market this competitive. Are there any other opinions on this website address, or was my valuation of the domain completely off-base?

It is a good domain for someone, who wants high SE rankings for "Get Money Online", that is very hard to accomplish without the proper domain. And IMHO every internet marketer wants to be in 1st page of make money online/get money online
I'd say you need to approach moneymaking website owners, who have the .org and .net and all other extensions of your domain, some of them will be interested to get that .com, that is stealing their type-in traffic :D

Yes, it's good for SEO but as to the value, not much really. Value would depend on how much traffic & revenue this domain produces only.

I have added reputation points, but 'htmlindex' - it gave me the same error as 'deet.' However, I beg to differ from these appraisals, and see this domain at least being sold within the $XXX range; I simply wouldn’t settle for anything less. Prior to me posting this thread, it was similarly appraised in the NamePros chat-room so I am just not convinced. If you saw it available – with all other possible extensions taken – would you not register it? Why would these extensions and similar domains be taken to simply be parked, were they not for investment purposes? After all, it was stated that the appraised domain may be worth only the registration cost. So then, allow me to ask where the domain falls short on value?

How much would you have appraised MakeMoneyOnline.com? What if I told you that it was picked up for a pricey $95,000 in a recent auction? I would assume a fraction of the amount based on the prior appraisals. I would also like to bring to light <Removed> thread of the owner asking for appraisals, only to find himself in a similar situation as myself. I believe many of the appraisals have simply discounted the value of SEO when valuing the website address, so I urge you to read this blog entry for future reference. It is the potential at times that makes a domain worthy of purchase. Of course, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder; and I suppose so does value.

Any other opinions on the worth of this domain? How much would a reseller and end-user be willing to pay?

good for SEO, but bad for natural traffic. that means domain should be developed to make money. good keywords. low-mid xx for reseller.
There is a huge difference between MakeMoneyOnline.com and Get-Money-Online.com. There is 2 dashes there damaging natural traffic. we would be talking different numbers here if you would own GetMoneyOnline.com :blink:

I agree domain would show full potentinal with development as your probably won't get much type in traffic. But it's good for search engines cause of strong keywords. Good luck.

So the value in this domain rests in developing an accompanying website, ranking it highly for the given keywords (which ought to be easier), and then either slapping advertisements (to take advantage of the $X EPC or affiliate marketing). I see where you folks are going with this; perhaps my emphasis on the domain's resell value was hampering my ability to spot more lucrative opportunities. Reputation points added for everyone.
