Geo Redirect Question

I have some websites setup to redirect all US traffic to a site other than the original URL. Is there a way I can view the original website as seen by people in countries other than the US? (I am in the US and get redirected to the other URL). I have tried using proxies with no luck.

If it is redirecting based on your "user locale" - You'll have to change your settings in your browser and/or computer.

Do you know if this is how it is determining the visitors origin ? Or is it by IP etc .. ? If it is via IP - A Proxy may work ..... But proxy's do not always fool scripts and systems.

It is done by IP. I figured out how to do it. The script I am using has an exception list and I added my IP to it and all works well now!
