Hey all, I currently have a list of 1.2k+ unreg-ed GEO+Keyword domains for .com
It contains big cities, popular countries, and top class keywords too.
These are 3 I have registered from the list (would'nt mind a quick & rough appraisal too).

How should I filter through this list as best as I can? Since purchasing all 1.2k+ of them is not an option now :xf.cool:
I have added some metrics to my list like the number of hits on Google search, but this often contains irrelevant searches. Using search modifiers to get exact matches also does not really help as it'll still contain irrelevant results. I have also run all names against auto appraisals like Epik's and GD's (sorry for API spam), but I know this is really not accurate (since I can compare against similar items in my list).

So my question is:

1. How then should I filter and narrow down my huge list here? I feel like I could potentially be sitting on a gold mine, or a rubbish dump.

2. How should I priorities GEO over GEO, Keywords over Keywords, and more importantly, GEO+KW over other GEO+KWs?

3. For certain cities/countries, would a non .com domain be more favourable (e.g. .co.uk, .us, etc)?

4. What other advice could you offer me regarding this?

what i do with geo domains is a namebio search for the keyword and it is location in the domain this way you don't even have to try to pronounce the word to see what is better geo+keyword or keyword+geo
then you can separate them into smaller lists
for example :
Properties List
Electrician List
etc
then it will be easier to go through them and figure out which is good and which is garbage by doing a specific search on each you will be shocked how many good geo domains are out there available for hand reg

also a quick www.namedroppers.com search might be useful if your not sure

as far as the countries preferences Germany and the uk would rather have there own country extension than a .com

good luck broski

Thanks. Ive been looking at Google Ads results for my "KW + Geo" / "Geo + KW" as well as each search term's competitiveness and CPC.

My list factors for only good KWs that go before and after the Geo, so the order doesnt matter.

Currently my list is now 2k+ unregs and growing, I'm able to sort/filter it anyway I want. Definitely agree that there are gems. Just registered a GEOcasino.com in a popular city with casinos.

I'm no expert in Geos but some basics things would be geo + keyword is the better version, .com is best for US locations, personally I wouldn't reg non-US in .com unless both the Geo and keyword are really strong but everything that has value is long gone imo.
Bottom line, I would only consider hand-regging Geo domains if I was willing to do outbound, I wouldn't expect these names to sell themselves in a rate that would cover renewal costs.

Yes I realise it's obviously better to do outbound for some GEO domains. So far I've only registered .com extenssions. I wonder when I should look at others.

I've started using Google Keywords Planner and recording things like avg. monthly searches, competition index, and high/low range for page bids for the search of my Geo + KW.

What metrics do you guys use to measure whether or not a geo domain is good?

Hi All,

I have the same questions as Shawn's.

If somebody can shed some light over it, that will be great.

Thanks in advance
