Why google chose the name "gemini" for its Ai project
Before buying the domain name gemini.com?

gemini.com is an already established business with millions of customers, if they were going to buy the domain it would be a huge issue for consumers and the site possibly to migrate and or they just dont wanna get rid of it for good reason hence google not buying it

True, Gemini.com is already a big brand, so Google likely avoided it to prevent confusion and respect their business.
