GAMMR.com - I have purchased this based on an assumption that this could be a branded name for a website that is dedicated to gamers. Kindly provide your opinions and suggestions on this. Thanks in advance.

Note: I am planning to sell this domain, so your valuation would be highly helpful.

5 Letter word, looks cool, quickly checked on namebio for LLAAL pattern sales and looks you may make 4000$ plus IMHO but not quite sure. Experts over here might have something to say.

Thanks a lot. Anybody else can help me in appraising this domain please?

Gamr with a single m would be better. You name sounds more like gamma to me. Your name is hard to tell people, it's a bit confusing. However, as a substitute for gamma, it might work. It is trendy to do this type of letter substitution. The fact that it's a five letter .com also helps a lot. Therefore, I could see a reasonable sale. A BrandBucket.com might be a possibility or try your luck on Flippa.

Substitute for Gamma sounds interesting, never thought in that perspective. Looking forward for more such inputs. Thanks a lot for your inputs on this. Much Appreciated.

Just had a look at some names on brandbucket and saw Dippn listed for around $2000
Gammr would have more potential IMO. For the record, I know very little!
If I was you I would submit there and see if they accept. If they do its your choice, what to do next.
You can list for sale there or anywhere else you choose. I would think if the name was accepted, it may show there is potential value? Again I am just a newbie myself, so don't take my word for it. Would be interesting if anyone else has any opinions on this?

Stick it on BrandBucket.com and hope isn't a bad plan IMO.

Thanks a lot for the effort that you took to analyse this domain in detail :). Even I am a beginner so just waiting for more inputs and then probably will come to a conclusion. Thanks

I would stick it on BrandBucket for around the $7,000 mark and then just wait and hope. When it comes to this unique brandable type of domain, you might as well put the price relatively high, then just wait and hope. It may never sell but that is the nature of this type of investment.

It's quite a good domain really, but you need a lot of luck to ever sell it.

Any tips on how you arrived at that figure? I know it could be because of your experience, but would love to understand how things are evaluated so that i could help someone too.

Probably if i could sell it for a lower price and not greedy i think it may fly :) hopefully

It's from looking at average prices for unique brandables on BrandBucket, and how good I think the "brandability" is.

You could not sell it for $7,000 tomorrow, you'd have to sit on it a long time.

If you need to sell it quickly, you would only be able to sell for a fraction of this price, as it would be to another domainer taking a punt on it.

I have even designed a simple logo and placed in the site, your comments/ better logo ideas are also welcome :)

I doubt you'll sell this quickly (unless you are very lucky and right end user happens by). You need to get it out there, on Sedo and Godaddy as "make offer" and Brandbucket.

Also I agree that one M would be better, as "gamer" is one M so you haven't actually shortened it, just swapped the "E" for an "M". That said, "gamer.com" and "gamr.com" are likely long gone so yours is a new chance for people.

I think it's worth high 3 to low 4 figures generally, but there's a fair chance of an end user wanting this for a games/gamer etc related project.

Good luck

Additionally, the logo is not ideal as the last "M" looks like an "E", and "gamer.com" is a different ball game altogether ;)
I know end user could do this too, so is promotional etc, but also might look like you're trying to mislead people and are selling "gamer.com", and that can stop a potential sale or contact in it's tracks

Thanks a ton for your inputs @james haw . Yes you are right, just used the last M to look like E just to depict how people can display this (not to mislead) people. Will right away try this on BrandBucket first, let me hope for the best. Thanks again :)

I recently submitted Vovla.com to Brandbucket and it was accepted. I heard back 2-3 days later. The advised listing price was $2200. I can increase this by 20% which I will be doing.

I am going to opt for the $100 option for the logo. After some reading in the forums it seems generally considered that there is no need to pay more.

I will have to check the T&C's as unsure whether I can have listed as 'make offer' on other market places at the same time as being listed on Brandbucket?

Would be interesting to know how you get on with Brandbucket? Looking forward to your update.
