I got this name back in 2007 after it dropped. I have had it for two years and it has 55 backlinks. At one point it was used for a large gaming forum. I am planning on selling it and it would be very helpful if I could get an idea of its value.

Also, what would be some good places to sell a name like this?

If I where you I would try to get "gamerforum" too or the name of the "Game" you support wich makes more sense but sometimes there are TM issues with.
I personally never search for the plural of "forum".
If you sell it here you will not get much money in my opinion.
Maybe its just better to sell it to one of your registered users.
Btw: I´m running successful a website for gamer and I don´t have a special game related name in my url.

Thanks for the appraisal. I think you are wrong about the plural, though. A did a search for "forums" and found that a number of popular forums use the plural version:
ubuntuforums.org
forums.worldofwarcraft.com
forums.myspace.com
