I just saw that the domain name Galileo.net has sold for $50,000 USD at Afternic.com, It looks like the owner only acquired the domain name 38 days ago at GoDaddy for $4,050 USD...

GoDaddy almost did as well as the seller, with much less skin in the game.

They collected the $4k revenue for simply selling the expired domain that they didn't own, then a fat Afternic commission on the $50K sale.

I wonder if its better I liquidate all my names and just buy godaddy stock :unsure:
