I saw a note in one of the .TV threads regarding the default CPC but wanted to point out that the default CPC is likely not what most advertisers pay. One should add in "estimated ad position" and then place a figure to see how much an advertiser could pay and still retain a spot in positions 1-3, 4-6, etc. Positions below 4-6 likely won't get the desired traffic for the keyword but an advertiser can get adequate traffic by controlling their bid per click. Someone mentioned a default CPC of nearly $14 for "debt" but incorrectly using the tool could lead a domain holder to grossly overpricing their domain.
The GAKT shows that a bid of $0.70 will still give an advertiser a position in the top three spots while bidding $0.35 will yield a ranking between 4-6. Quality score (influenced by % of clicks for your ad) will affect the bid rate but that is another issue.
