But then again who else has a band named LUCIFERIUS (latin for LUCIFER)

So I can see it having a nominal fee for a Hollywood film doing a remake of say G8s Hotel and using a short term like this or a mainstream satanic band that wants to do an album.

You know I got over 30 Million plays last summer on SoundCloud and since the music industry is now free streaming, it made me nothing, but some did click the link to my site and actually buy music at 3 times the rate iTunes charges, lol, so the money is trying to shop it to a film project, where G8s is being used, and then if you could find it, it would only fetch a small amount.

May low xxxx if there was a project that needed it

If I was you, I would develop it and do an app, and if you can't do it yourself, then take say 10% to 25% of a project jusing your name and be happy someone invested a lot of valuable time trying to make a cool short name do something.

If this was 2000 I'd say 10K maybe 20K but today if you got 2K for it, it would be a lot IMO

Cool name and like I said, I would just hang a new album on it and since most of my fans are young and broke and listen to free on soundcloud I can't put any money on it, so I'll pass on it, I can just put a G8s page on my Luciferius .com

Not sure if an url shortener service can monetize a name, I know they exist, but I never heard of a paid shortening site doing business in any volume.

If I was you, I'd keep it for vanity, put the url shortener on a different page than the home screen for your private use and maybe buddypress it as an anti social media members site

Not sure you can get traffic to create a community, that takes a lot of work, but it's a nice cool little url.

Like I said maybe a horror film or luciferian band might one day offer you a G for it, but it's basically a vanity name for you to use or create a community that likes the name.

No big value in it, but it's a 3 character .com that means something, there's not many of them around with open reg fees

I've helped a few people by providing a shortened URL, but I don't let them become members, I just enter the URL myself.

Your point about opening the list to all surfers is valid. and that is something that I will do once I have sorted the php to allow people to access it. The site would then become a link list, and I hope I can use it to move traffic around my sites. Jazz Pics is intended to be a traffic generator, and many of the images are in g8s. You either run sites as a 'hobby' and spend a fortune in time moderating them.
Or you develop a plan to monetize it.
There's a few levels of development and once you start to develop traffic, without a business model to monetize it, it becomes a money black hole.
Most domainers today are 'flippers' they do reg's to make a fast couple of hundred bucks, nothing wrong with that and that's why the new tld's are so popular here.
The era of build it they will come is long over, today most cheap hosting platforms that totally stink as to page open speed won't even allow you to run a simple CMS like wordpress.
Then if you spend a few bucks and get allowed to do say a full blown wp site, you run into slow page open times.
The main problem today is traffic for new sites, many sites can't even get indexed now in some big search engines like bing.
As soon as you try to 'open' a site to the public, it is usually a magnet for spam.
So then moderating becomes a full time job.
Over 90% of the nets traffic today is bots, just looking for open sites to spam.
Then you have the issue of monetizing a site, the old ways with parking and adsense seldom work.

It's a nice name but I don't see an easy way to develop it and monetize it.
