I'm not a big fan of abbreviations in domain names unless they are universally and instantly recognized but "Effects Manufacturing".....I couldn't resist. Any thoughts on its value?

There is nothing to be sorry about. I'm in industrial sales, I am a little biased towards domain names that incorporate the abbreviation "mfg" ...different perspectives and opinions are valuable when one has a bias . . . thanx

That is my fear with this one and why I'm not a fan of abbreviations in domain names. If they do not strike you immediately for what they mean, they are no more than a jumble of meaningless letters. I am still biased towards this one though. It struck me as soon as I saw it and I have to think that I am not alone.
When I first saw it I was just confused... without an explanation I would never have understood. Either your domain contains a keyword and describes your site, or it's a brandable domain/made up word. This.. is neither. Reg fee IMO.
Lol, today I saw this topic again and I forgot what it stands for again, maybe its just me That might be worth something to someone who works with uh manufacturing stuff..maybe a little tiny bit over regfee or your might get your money back.
Or save it for like 10-15 years when LLLLL.com is worth something
I just sold this name for $70. It was as much the abbreviations (especially "fx") as it was the fact that it is a 5 letter domain name that is easily communicated verbally. This is a reminder that we aren't always going to see what others see in domain names.
