If you'll refer to the end, it says:

FedEx also said in the Aug. 3 letter that Avila clearly intended to operate a business from his website because he used the .com domain suffix, the "commercial level domain," rather than .net.

What the hell is FedEx thinking? Do they really think they'll win a case like this, especially with that last line regarding using .com instead of .net?

lol... Fedex is so pathetic trying to go after that case I think there is nothing wrong if anything the guy is promoting fedex for free...

Edit: whoops didn't see the domain name, he is violating fedex's trademark...

I was thinking the same thing as you, DJ-Sound until I saw the domain but they still don't have a case and it is stupid and a waste of time and money to even pursue it and in the end fedex will take a loss and that guy will end up in debt.

Yes but I'm just laughing at their logic... "he used .com instead of .net so that gives us the right to go after him"

It is a funny story, but I do not believe the person is completely innocent. I think initially he was, but why would a guy so broke print up shirts and business cards to give away FOR FREE? I know if I was Fedex, I would harp on that.

But still a funny story....
