These are few questions I would like to know.

- Are there reliable sources where I can acquire capital for investing in new extensions and also in older extensions domain names

- How does the re-payment work out

- Are there any documents that need to be sent

- What security would they need

When you talk of capital, are you speaking in terms of loans or investment capital?

If you have solid credit, I have been recieving some nice offers through BankofAmerica - They are offering 10,15,20,50k with decent interest, and its not tied to any assetts other than my credit. I have considered exploring taking out this loan, but at this time, until I get a sound business concept, I am holding still.

I have not tried them yet but I believe you still have to put up 40% of the funding amount.

As Justin says, the most obvious source of credit is your bank where you are known and trusted.
if you do not have good credit or collateral you need a good business plan or find a business angel. Anyway you should never borrow more than you could possibly afford ;)
