Received some offers, not what I was looking for however. The domain is still for sale!

May I ask where the traffic is coming from? Are/were you advertising?

No, I've never advertised it and have no idea where it is coming from. It's kind of strange it receives around the same amount of hits as well everyday. I've owned the domain since 2004 and have never really done anything with it - just started parking it last month.

Will you allow a prospective buyer to test the traffic?

ie. change the DNS for 3-6 days. Once the traffic shows to be accurate to claims, pay for the domain and transfer to new owner?

If so,:sold:

I'll PM DNS if you agree to terms.

I can always show you a screenshot from Sedo up to today. If not, I'll be glad to change the DNS..

Sorry - I sold it to him as he could send the payment right away and not wait 6 days.

We have an agreement. I sure hope you are not going back on that. Are you?

robg,

You had a deal with Robert, and you need to honor that deal if you want to be taken seriously around here. I hope your reputation and good standing in this community is worth more than the $35.

Do the right thing.

as is, imo the domain has value, even without the traffic.

i used to own this domain back in late 2002, and let it drop before .us got really hot.

as always, when you hesitate in this game....most times you lose.

at $35, it's a good buy

the seller could have very well lost out on selling at his price, should the other guy got to test the domain, and then changed his mind.

seems like if he could exercise that option, then the seller should be able to exercise the same option...and change his mind also.

biggie-

This is not between you and I, you know that. If you have something to say to me your welcome to PM.

robg-

I'm still looking for your answer. Your actions are unacceptable and have no place in this or any other forum. We had a deal, you would have found it unacceptable for me to have dome the same to you.

That's irrelevant. A lot of things in life could happen.

The fact is, the seller agreed to do it, and he should honor his word.

Furthermore, the buyer (RobertJr) is one of the most respected members of this community, and doesn't string people along. If the traffic claims were legit, the deal was done.

These comments coming from the person who's attempting to get the domain for himself is not surprising. Disappointing, but not surprising.

I will say this.... You reap what you sow.

lol

no it's not between me and you.

we go back...so if you want the domain, let me know.

since your name is rob, and it may have more meaning to you.

all that blah blah from "db" is unnecessary, about who's respected in this community. i know rob's background, so you ain't gotta tell me nothing.

I don't think there's anything funny about it, biggie. And the issue here was (and is) the seller's and your actions, not anybody's background, who knows who, or anything else. The majority of fault being the seller of course, who broke his word.

"Blah blah blah"..... as you say?

My reply to you >> Whatever. [imagine a NP smiley here rolling it's eyes, we don't have one]

You are not a newbie. You know what you are doing. Nothing else I can say matters at this point. And I understand all about - "you snooze, you lose" - but that was clearly not the case here, with RobertJr's deal and everyone involved knows it.

Anyway, the seller needs to make his move now, make his decision, do his business and move along. Life is short. The weekend is here.
