From where to buy .fr domain

I have been using namecheap for buying .com and .net domain but recently i tried to buy .fr domain but the requirement is to have company in france. So is there any alternative or site?

Address in one of the European Union states or in one of the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland.

If you have an address in Europe, you just need to find the cheapest registrar.

If you are outside the European Union, you must find registrars which provide "Trustee Service".

Are all of these very small registrars safe to use?

If their business folds I presume that the registry would simply transfer your names

to another registrar. Is this correct?
