Dear Namepros buddies
I thought that it would be a good idea to set up a weekly sales register thread for Friday chat sales as the chat can't be scrolled back much. Having a register helps for folks who visit Namepros later on Friday to not miss out all the good stuff sold in chat. Also it would benefit the forum as the forum would become equally alive like the chat room.
Benefits:
Friday is the day sales is allowed in chat. Due to the timezone differences, Friday actually extends to a total of 48 hours in total.

Friday starts earliest in Apia (GMT+11)

Due to the nature of timezones, I propose that we suffix the register with week numbers.

Threads titles could be in this format:

Posts could be in this format with single lines to reduce length:
<domain name(s)>
<registrar/transfer method>
<expiry if short>
<price if not a link to auction / payment method>
<link to an auction or other post in namepros if applicable>
Example post:
example.com - Acme registrar / acc push - 50$ / Paypal
foobar.com - Fooreg / epp - ~30days - auction here: http://namepros.com/...
example.net - Acme registrar / acc push - Not valid
soul.com - Lolreg.com / acc push - ~10 days - SOLD

Every post could have an additional piece of information if you have patience - Time left till world wide Friday is over in this format:

Benefits:
- Information in chat is temporal and is limited to the scroll back buffer. Having reference links allows us to see what we have missed.
- Adding posts here and referencing them in chat keeps both chat and forum lively.
- Less spammy. More bang for the buck
- The reference helps buyers and sellers find other sales in thread or their offers to be discovered. ie Mutual benefit for everyone, if a buyer doesn't like a domain, they may find yours in the posts, and if they don't find your offer interesting, they discover another one, thus helps your community.
- One can discover what sells and what does not. Good for research purpose.

I also propose some simple rules for the Friday Sales Register threads:
- Follow all namepros rules first.
- Decide in chat who would create the Friday Chat Sales Register chat thread 10 Minutes before Friday and post link in chat once created. This avoids duplicates.
- If you are offering sales in chat and you do not have a auction or any other posts on name pros. Create a post in this thread with your offer and post a link in chat along with offer.
- If you already have a post/thread auction somewhere in namepros, use that reference in chat. If you must, you can also create a post in this thread with the offer, but make sure that you link to the original post.
- Update the posts here in this thread if you sold domains, so that others know that it is no longer available.
- This is not a sales thread, it is only a register, so if you buy, you should not post anything. Instead use PM, or chat if it is Friday.
- Do not post more than once the same offer. Edit the post if you must. You can always reference your post in chat on Fridays.
- If you do not want to sell a name at a certain price after certain number of hours, update your post or domain with "No longer valid for all" on top or "Not Valid" (or delete line) beside, respectively.
- The Friday weekly sales threads should be closed or read only once Friday expires world wide. Offers here expire as Friday expires.
