I've set up a very basic website to list freeware programs that can be used to develop .TV video sites.

http://www.tvfreeware.com/

If anyone knows of any freeware tools or apps that are specifically designed for creating video interfaces or embedding video (or whatever) can they please post in this thread and I'll add them to the site.

The focus is on software you can use on your own computer to create, or enhance, video-type interfaces ... rather than tools offered by websites that do the job for you (eg ChannelMe.tv). The type of freeware I want to list is that which gives the user total control over the interface design.

I'm intending this to be a general resource that we can all use and benefit from.

The reason I've set this site up as a .com is because it cost me $6.95 to reg the name, as opposed to $24.95 for a .TV site. The site is intended to be a rough-and-ready reference site, not a site that's meant to be developed or to generate traffic. I can't see any point in spending the extra money to reg a domain name for this purpose. Anyway, the name TVfreeware.TV would have been confusing ... and silly. :)

I am committed to the .TV platform - I'm using one of my prime dot com sites to promote TV channels:

RegFee,
I've added the Jahshaka software to the list. It's exactly the type of app that I'm referring to and sounds like it could be really useful. I'll add the Microsoft tool as well because it can be of use. The other items here are too much along the lines of the ChannelMe-type tools (RegFee, hope I haven't caused offence :).

Thanks for your input.
