I'm not quite sure why the previous owner chose to use the domain for a proxy site, but it does come in handy though since many schools and business firewall block sites with the word proxy in it.

Less then a dollar to over a dollar and more per day. It varies per day but on weekends when most people are at home and not at school or at work the income is none to very minimal along with the traffic.

It uses the cgiproxy script. When I bought the site a few months back it had no copyright link to it, if one is required the new owner can add the link easily enough.
