FreeServiceCentral combines 7 scripts into one main website, allowing for one of the biggest free service collections available online today! All scripts run on their own databases and their own cPanel accounts, but they're all subdomains on the main site, freeservicecentral.com. All scripts are controlled by header/footer files and have an admin backend for control of each seperate entity*.
Script descriptions:
phpBBhost (RC2) :: cpanelbased.com
Open a phpBB forum hosting website with our newest creation, phpBBhost. Setup is a breeze and layout integration is easy as well (header/footer files used). Panel with X skin, MySQL, phpBB autoinstall files (included in cPanel, ask for details), and PHP 4.3.x or above required for the script to run properly.
FTPhost (RC2) :: cpanelbased.com
Open an FTP hosting service with FTPhost by cPanelBased.com. Customize the layout (header/footer files used), set your default quota for new users, edit the config file, upload, and you've got a running FTP hosting service! cPanel with X skin, MySQL, and PHP 4.3.x or above required for the script to run properly.
WordPress BlogHost (RC2) :: cpanelbased.com
Open a WordPress blog hosting service with WordPress BlogHost. Setup is simple, as with all of our other scripts (header/footer files and config file used). cPanel with X skin, MySQL, PHP 4.3.x or above, and the WordPress autoinstall files (included with cPanel, ask for more details) are required for WordPress BlogHost to run properly.
Forwarder Service (RC1) :: cpanelbased.com
Open a free anonymous e-mail forwarder service with Forwarder Service. Allow users to signup and direct mail from [email protected] to their own e-mail address -- allowing for anonymous contact. No worries about SPAM as the users can't send mail, they can only recieve! cPanel with X skin, MySQL, and PHP 4.3.x or above required.
Downtime Monitor Script :: (unreleased to public)
Never opened to the public in a website setting, this script is great for webmasters. With a CRON job that runs at an interval set by the site owner, members can signup and setup monitoring for their websites in less than 5 minutes. Includes an SMS module so users can recieve updates about their site via SMS (only works with some providers, check site for details). Admin area, header/footer files used. cPanel with X skin, MySQL, and PHP 4.3.x or above required.
PollHost Script :: (unreleased to public)
Another 'never released to the public' script, made for FreePolling.com. Ported and changed to be used on FreeServiceCentral. Users can create polls with up to five answers, look at their stats, and send the polls to their friends. No admin backend included in this script -- *owner may administer the script from within phpMyAdmin or a similar database viewer. Header/footer files used for easy design access. cPanel with X skin, MySQL, and PHP 4.3.x or above required.
PlayCMS Script :: playcms.com
PlayCMS allows webmasters to open and control their own flash game websites with ease. Visitors can find games with various methods, play them, and rate them. PlayCMS is written in PHP and connected to a MySQL database to store game information making the script fast and efficient.
