I built this site about 2-3 years ago and used it generate about $15K in affiliate sales revenue. I'm no longer operating it, but if anybody wanted to try to make it work again I'm sure there's a TON of money to be had since the iPhone brings loads of new accessories.

Sorry for the disbelief, but $15k in revenue at one time and you stopped caring about it?
It seems like a pretty outlandish claim to be made with absolutely no proof to back it up. Especially with no traffic info from Alexa either.
Could we please see proof of this revenue?

And not to dig up old dirt, but could you explain why the thread to your site from anything4free.com is in the "scams&closed sites" section where you seem to be banned? Were you 'closed' or a 'scam'?

yeah, $15K in revenue (in about 8 mo.), no lie, and I'm admitting that it currently makes no money. I'm just looking for an appraisal for either the domain name alone, or with a developed site.

Anyway, I closed down b/c I had issues with my advertisers who no longer wanted to pay for incentivized-leads. When I stopped getting paid, people stopped getting free gifts and the site eventually closed. The free stuff industry has been swamped since and it is hard to distinguish yourself from other scam sites and find suitable affiliate advertisers.

I see you did a link popularity search, so you prolly found that there are about 40 links to it still. I don't think there is much traffic anymore as I haven't promoted the site in 3 years.

Thoughts?

yes - I did actually make $15K in about a year's time when I actively ran it. Hopefully you can just give an appraisal based on the info I've provided. I don't think there is much type-in traffic, but there are about 40 linked sites to it in Google's database right now.

As to why it closed -> The affiliate advertisers I worked with grew weary of paying for incentivized leads, so they ultimately pulled out. When I stopped getting paid, I closed down the site.

Nowadays, you see banner ads for free items on every site, so I assume that affiliate advertising is available again. Of course, my site's model is much different and more personal than the avg. one you see ads for.

The affiliate programs, like commission junction or CPAEmpire, will send you a daily list of ID#'s who have complete offers and how much money you made(it's embedded in the affiliate links). You simply match those up with the ones on your site to credit a completed offer.
