Hello,

I don't really have any plans for development, I just have this parked at Sedo, so I thought I might find out what my contemporaries here at NP think about the name. Any ideas for development or critiques are welcome; just don’t ask for a free bike! There’s no such thing as a free ride...

You can post here, even if you write something bad about the domain like "it sucks or horrible domain name, I have no idea why you would even post such a name, even if you gave it to me I wouldn’t take it”.

Honestly, I can’t seem to get anyone to give me ideas for development or any valuations. Mostly I would prefer developmental ideas because I don't really have a clue as to how to properly monetize this name.

the only thing that comes to my mind(2:15am) is like a site where business and individuals could donate new/second hand bikes for underprivileged kids.... no money but you would get a warm fuzzy feeling lol

lol love that previous post Kimmy, honestly I'm not sure what you could do with this development wise other than having people donate their bikes to you and then either you fix them up or sell them. You could also scrap them in the metal yard and get some change back for that or part them out. Could also as a long shot try and advertise motorcycle related stuff as well or something similar. This is the right idea.. FREE BIKES for the underprivileged kids. Everyone has a free bike in their garage to donate. It's a fantastic idea. worthy cause.

Thanks Adam and Wanda; selfishly I had been thinking about the monetary value of the domain but was ignoring the obvious worth. I do currently have the assets to at least attempt to do something worthy for children who don’t have the luxuries that most of us take for granted every day.

I am an avid cyclist, who couldn’t conceive of the possibility of not being able to do what I love so much.

I thank you for opening my eyes to the good that could come from this.

Apparently Amsterdam and Paris offer free bikes to commuters and tourists:

If the idea catches on in other cities (hopefully english speaking), there will be a shortage of free bikes domain names.

You could make it into an incentive site like freeipods, freexbox360 etc where people sign up to one of your offers (which you recieve money for), get a few of their friends to do it and they get a free bike from you while you make a few $$$ extra profit.

I have an incentive site for sale that you could easily modify.
