    Hey all,

Does anyone have a good suggestion or two for a free website builder that lets you use your own domain name (and not one of their subdomains?).

I was looking around online, and it seems that all the best free site builders require you to use a subdomain, while charging you to connect your own domain.

I don't know of any that let you use your own domain for free, however, you could always forward your domain to theirs with masking if you really want it to be free.

Yeah, that's a good option. Might end up going with that. Thanks!

Can not you pay $ 5 a month for a shared hosting with unlimited domains / unlimited emails / unlimited DBs / unlimited traffic?

Every hosting companies that offer cPanel have website builder integrated. Or softaculous.

If you don't want to spend $ 5 a month, use free hosting services:

My awesome host is $5 per year or $20 per year reseller, so you can use it for all your own domains with their own cpanel

What web builders are you looking at? As @mpls said, there are some included in cpanel, Site Publisher might be a good choice

Well I recently registered my kids' names, and they're both into using Google slides to create shared spaces among their friends, etc. I was thinking I could help them take the next step and run their own little private forum or something, either using their own names or a brand new "club" name.

I was looking at the bigger companies like Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, etc. $5 per month per kid isn't a huge deal, but was just curious to know if there was a free option out there that would be friendly enough for someone in the 8 to 12 range to use.
