Free sms Sites

For those using those free sms scripts: who pays for the sms?

If I want to start a free sms site, will I have to contact the individual service providers and does it cost them to receive free sms?

in here we use chikkatxt.com and i have 35 free sms in my account per day but can't be accumulated. chikkatxt.com usually adds a footer ad on every message my receiver receives, sometimes they send out a ringtone automatically downloaded to your cellphone that will cost the receiver like P2.50/U.S.$0.05 per sms download, so it's not actually free, i prefer calling it delayed.
