>>> A short, but impactful Press Release will do the trick here, friends. :)

FYI:
Many times readers see an ad and they know that what they are reading is just overblown hype. Most readers are more likely to trust independent authorities such as reviewers, columnists, reporters or broadcasters. Without a doubt, it is these same authorities that are directly influenced by good public relations and specifically, a well-written press release.

A well-written release can dramatically increase your sales, expose your company to the masses, and greatly enhance the image of your business or products.

Credibility is the one thing that can win the customer’s heart and pocketbook at the same time and nothing builds more credibility than a well-written press release that gets picked up by the media.

Good Luck and Thank you for your participation. One entry per member ... ending date to be announced shortly. :)

There are no parameters insofar as "length" ... use your best judgement! I saw some "tips" and "hints" out on Google earlier this morning ... so maybe that'll help some. Usually, when words are stated from the heart, the message comes out most convincing, thus effective. Be creative and have fun.
PS. Entries and even comments/suggestions can expect additional NP$ prizes, as well ... I've just confirmed this. Efforts will be rewarded in this thread. ;)

General News Release Guidelines

I have a few guidelines to share from my days in the trenches. These are my thoughts only and do not represent official rules in any way.

A press release should not be more than one page with line spacing at no less than 1.5.

Start with the most important info at the top, the next most important info below that, and so on. The idea is that an editor could read from the beginning down to any point and get the most quality information as possible.

It should be to the point. You are not trying to give anyone a comprehensive study of every aspect of the business. You will get more mileage by focusing on a clear and marketable feature.

Watch the hype. A press release full of exclamation points and wild claims will not be taken seriously.
