Eclipse are offering 5 free domain names, make sure you register your 5 domain names all at the same time as you cant go back and register another domain even if you only selected one.

I am satisfied at the moment and finally have 2 of the domains sitting on my server which I got with PR. So yeah..............Now just for the other 3 to resolve which was to be done a few hours ago.

ya thats probably why.. they are new to providing domains.. probably why they gave them away for free

But ya since they are free i guess we cant demand them asap.. even though i want them ASAP so i develop them :D

When I read their offer, I was under the impression it was an offer extended to Eclipse broadband customers in particular. I didn't get the impression they expected the offer to be posted elsewhere and used by those who weren't customers.

Their main business seems to be providing broadband access and the free domains are an incentive to use their service. In fact, if I remember correctly when I read the TOS, it pretty much stated something to that effect.

All in all, the whole thing reminds me of 1and1's loss leader promotions.. get you in with free domains in the hopes you'll use other services.

Because all the domain extensions are of UK and EU, except COM.

Can someone confirm if the registrant is the owner of the names and not the registrar
