Well this is vaild untill any member on my board reaches 100 posts, and i stated before that its any domain of your choice with the exception of .mobi. I dont think eclipse has .mobi for registration.

is the offer valid for .us, .ca, .cn, .eu, .jobs, .jp, .be, .ag .fm .ms .nu .tc .tk .vg, and .ws too. i've never heard of eclipse... are they an icann accredited registrar?

i can't seem to find them on the list. i don't think they are icann accredited (and they definitely aren't icann, lol). was thinking of getting a .us domain hack too .

Yes and Eclipse was giving 5 free domains away a few months back. Didn't state on the page or any any of their advertisements that you had to be an UK resident. I reg 3 domains that were LLLL.com with PR. Never got the domains nor did they let them loose to the general public. And when I check the domains on a whois, says they are still reg to me although I do not have access to them....................

lpstong, I regged 5 domains with them during the free domains promo, and then I just asked them if I can transfer the domains to another registrar, which they agreed, so I transfered the domains to NameCheap, you should open a support ticket and ask to transfer your domains, good luck with it

I also did that and told me I had to pay them for the domains and then transfer. Which was another fee as well. I guess I might as well just do that....when I get enough to do so. I think it is like $19 USD with them(the xchange rate Pounds vs. USD), than the transfer to another reg., which is another $6 - $10. About $90+ total which should have been free or a fraction thereof. Just when I have the money thats all. Since Eclipse has you reg your domains for 2years. So I am just trying to bank on time atm.

I guess I was just really lucky that they let me transfer all 5 domains for free, I only had to pay for 3 of them for the transfer to NameCheap, but the other 2 I transfered for free to 123-reg, as they were co.uk domains.

Yea lpstrong i dont no why u had this problem but i have registered about 30 domains from them and i got my 5 free and never had any problems. Maybe you got unlucky lol i dont no what to say

Well I happy for the two of you. I should ask are you from the UK than? All three domains were .com's that I had. No .com.uk for me. I am glad you two were so fortunate and that customer service for you was top of the line for you two.

There are always one unhappy person in the bunch...And that was me than. Anyways............Well they did respond again to another email. So let's see what they have to say to help me in such a matter. To either let go of the domain's or let me transfer at a cheaper rate.

yes it is unfortunate that they treated u bad all the domains i registerded were .com or .net no .co.uk i hope that u get everything worked out with eclgpse good luck the 1free domain is still avalible so join my forum and try to win it!
