I saw that on digg and some folks were saying they start hounding you in about 6 months for renewal. Still seems like a decent deal though.

The most I've ever gotten was a notice to renew.. not exactly annoying or "hounding"... you'd have to expect if your "free" sub was about to expire they'd send an offer to renew.

Not for the UK, but I sort of filled in the country info for me on the post code, I dunno if I'll ever see a magazine but it's worth a try!

ZdNet used to send me a free monthly magazine, but they've gone to e-mail only delivery now
