Surprisingly these new TLDs are very similar to existing extensions such as .Cash and .Lawyer.

How do you think the release of all these TLDs will effect the world of domain names?

Probably not much, for the reason you mentioned and due to the large number of new gTLDs. Collectively, they'll have a huge impact. Individually or a handful of them, not so much.
