If you have to choose between these two, which one will you use?

Which is better for SEO and for anchor text in backlinking campaign?

"Keyword Forum" or "Keyword Forums"

So sad that Overture doesn't differentiate singular/plural.

I'm leaning towards "forum", but my opinion on this changes. Might see what
a) sounds best and
b) decide how narrow of a topic will be discussed there. The narrower the topic, the more likely i'd stikc with the singular.

"forum" is the best form w/ "keyword" unless you are creating a directory site about keyword forums, implying that other forums are being discussed.

It's supposed to be "forums" isnt it? (Well, I mean a you won't just be having "one" forum on it will you?) -- But I generally use "forum".

Or even Board would be better, although it's not as popular as forum/forums

Forum is the choice. You could register forums as well as a redirect.

For the standalone domain name, I prefer: KEYWORDforum.com

For the sub directory of the domain name, I prefer: KEYWORD.com/forums

If you choose "forums" then you run the risk of visitors forgetting the 's'.
