Depends on the way you speak, some people assume "Break Lounge" here is a forum, others deem it to be a sub forum, where namepros is the forum.

up to you, I'd go for forum personally.

If you want the plural forums, usually it will be used as a subdomain infront of our domain to show that there are plenty of forums aka subforum in that forum. If its just a domain a singular "forum" is the best.

To be honest I don't think it matters much beyond personal preference.

I believe forum is actually the proper (original) grammatically-correct spelling, but forums developed as an alternative. That development can take something originally incorrect and make it correct. I don't think this is a trend any one group of people will reverse any time soon. You're in a good situation to have both.

The plural of Forum is in German language Foren.
Of course I could say this is a function of our Forum- das ist eine Funktion des Forums.
But the best ist just Forum.
