Well, after going for almost a year (10 months to be exact), I've decided to sell my site, mainly because I don't have the time anymore to run it.

I'm selling it for around $800 USD.

The sale includes pretty much everything except the hosting:

• IPB Yearly Licence expiring 30th December 2006.
• IPB Database.
• Files (system files, uplaods, etc, plus a small array of various signature images, plus the downloads).
• All skins (L33t Vista (semi-custom, $100 USD), Microsoft (custom, $120 USD), iBlue (commercial, $30 USD), and iGreen (commercial, $35 USD)).
• Domain name (http://thevistaforums.com/), expiring 13th January 2007 (originally registered for $10 USD) - Pagerank of 4.

All that for $800 USD. I think this is a pretty darn good price, as the IPB licence and skins alone cost just over $350 USD.

Hosting requirements (currently): around 70Mb of space, 15Gb bandwidth.

The Google Ads revenue is currently unknown, as I only just added them a few days ago.

Looks good. Seems weird that you would sell the forum now when the Vista is coming closer to coming out. But anyways is $800 BIN or starting price?

Any C&D from Microsoft's lawyers because I hear they're actively going after Vista websites?

How much are the annual license fees?

Also, are there any moderators for the site and will they continue moderating after the sale?

Revenue: An average of about three people subscribe each month to the VIP membership, which is $10 USD/year.

I'm not sure about the Adsense ads as they were only added a few days ago, like I said before.

As for Microsoft's lawyers, I haven't heard a word from them, even though they know the site is running (I recently got an email requesting that the Vista keys that some members were posting be removed, but that's it).

The IPB licence fees have recently changed from IPS, so at the moment it will be licenced until the 30th of December, then $25 USD per 6 months thereafter for "Support and Upgrades" from IPS.

There are a few moderators currently, and while I would like them to remain for as long as possible, it's up to the new owner to decide (I've not promised anything to them so it's your decision).
