Football Website

- One of those sites that I have been messing with for ages and finally spent a couple of hours finishing lastnight. Ive used a template for the design but I think it all fits fairly well.

Anyway just thought i'd grab peoples opinions, I dont wanna change too much but im well aware that im not a great at this website malarky so its always good to get a fresh opinion

What kind of features though? I added the option to leave a comment on each article but I dont get much traffic so that probably wont get much use. Thats the same reason I dont add a forum aswell.

Any suggestions on what other features to add?

Apart from content can you change the brown background colour to something like blue?

Very nice simple clean site. To be honest I don't mind the brown design. Though it does not give me the impression of a football site, it is very nicely done.

A possibility for you is to create a logo. You currently have none and it could help your site as it can become a favicon too. Good that you are using icons with your menu too. All that helps the user.

I don't think much needs changing really. Just needs to look more like soccer. Good luck!

you need a few more things that will make the site look like a football site when i first go there the only thing that make me look at it as a football site is that one image

I dont really like the design too much, it would be much better to see it have a football style design.

I agree with changing the colour. Maybe to green to fit in with the football theme. I love the team icons on the side panel - makes it very easy to browse and find your own team. Don't see any Newcastle news though
Id get a header designed - something to make visitors remember the name of the site. Also maybe a little more content on the homepage - maybe the latest news headlines or the latest scores which you could probably find an automated script for. Check out a few betting sites, im sure a few of them will do an automated updating script that you can use as an affiliate link too.
