.tv Football names help

most football names have been regd in tv,can i ask is it ok to reg these names as i did think they would be tm issues.

i have wonderd this for some time so anyhelp would be helpfull.

What do you mean exactly by football names?.

Do you mean like hullcityfc.tv, evertonfc.tv?

If that is what you mean and you intend to use it as an unofficial site about the football club then i suspect you may be ok, as long as you state it is an unofficial site.
If your plan is to buy these names in the hope that the club will inturn buy them from you then, imo it is a waste of time.

Most clubs have a deal with premiumtv.co.uk, who have the rights to show the clubs games.
I also never like to buy a name that only has one potential end user to buy it from you,if you buy evertonfc.tv then it is logical that your end user is Everton FC, if they don't want it then you have nowhere else to go apart from development.

Just my opinion of course

ok you said what i wanted to know i have my footy name and was going to do a site
as long as i point out its .unofficial am ok for next season.

Also don't put adsense or anything that makes you money on the site.

I'm not a lawyer... and I can't give a definite answer, but I don't see why you cannot use youtube videos.
I think when you upload the videos to youtube, TOS (somebody can verify?) say that you give rights for other people to embed the videos to their sites unless you click on an option to not allow embedding to other sites.

i know you cant sell premier club names on ebay ,think sedos ok?

i have seen lots site saying they can no longer use premier ship names as email address.youtube clips would be good for a footy site if were ok to use them?


are they many unofficial tv football sites?
