Hi Guys n Gals,

I'm looking for a ballpark figure on FlowGood.com

It'll be primarily targeted towards prostrate problems etc, hence, flowgood.

Google says 14.7M+ searches

Adwords says : Estimated clicks per day: 15,884 - 19,897 based on "flow" and "good" as seperate keywords, if you add "prostrate" to the mix you are over 20k

A ballpark figure would suffice

Thanks :)

Hi R, welcome to the forum. They're both nice words, they just look a little uncomfortable together in that order, the reverse is much stronger of course. Still, looks very brandable and useable. I think it'll take awhile to find a buyer, since it's somewhat vague for use... they'd have to see it and really know a use for it right away. And you couldn't ask a huge price, since they'd just get another available name for reg fee if you charged too high... like:
flowNice.com
flowClear.com -- my fave, you might grab it also.
flowGreat.com
flowQuick.com
And others are still available to reg.

I'd appraise low - med xx to resellers, 100+ to end users but not much over that. I'd appraise flowClear higher, clear is a much more attractive useable word here, IMO :)

You can't take individual words from the name look at their search frequency while estimating the value of the domain, you have to use the enitre phrase as it is in the domain name and then see the search frequency of that phrase. Sorry, but undeveloped this name is worth reg fee for a reseller imo.

What's the offer, and by whom? Reseller or end user?

I'd value this one as Low $xx to a reseller. I'd be interested in knowing what offer you've had as well.

The offer is $295, didn't really investigate if it was a reseller or not to be honest.

With an offer of $295 you can be pretty sure it won't be a reseller :D

GL with the sale. Hope it all goes through.
I'll look forward to seeing who bought it and how they use it.
Plumbing?

That's actually a very good offer for this kind of name. It's probably either an end user, or a domainer who's acting as an agent to buy a name for a client.

It's a hard call unless you investigate more; could be some small startup wanting your dn and only has small funds, or could be a massive corp with an agent who knows they can offer you peanuts and get away with it even though they can afford xx,xxx. Ha. That's the excitement of negotiations.

Try to find out a little more... who it is, what they want the name for, if you can. If you can't, I'd still try a little negotiation... say, counter with $600 and settle for 400 - 500 range. In short, these prices are very good if we're talking about 'Joe' from the next town... but if you find out it's someone like Proctor & Gamble wanting your name for a brand new multimillion $$ project, you can rightfully squeeze a few more hamburgers out of the sale.
The balance is always to come up with a fair price... not soak the buyer for everything you can, but also not to sell below what you intuitively feel you want for the name; and then this decision is always tempered by who wants the name and what use they intend for it. It's a total juggling act and even those of us who have been at it for years still have to 'gut feel' many of our negotiations.

Best of luck!

It can only give you low $xx reseller value.

I'd sell!
But if you going to park/develop this, make sure you use "Prostate", not "ProstRate"!!!

That's an awesome offer. I would take it if I were you.
