I didn't want to convince you about anything. You can believe whatever you want. But if you are going to tell me that buying a domain for 200K and sell it for 6.5K doesn't look fishy (and specially by the so called "domain king"),,,then i don't know what to tell you. Oh i forgot: tax cut!, sure...
well, "looks fishy" and stating definitely that a sale was fake are not the same thing. also, any "articles" you're referring to were just other loudmouths blogs.
anything is possible but its also possible the guy just made a stupid decision and eventually recognized that - sunk costs are irrelevant at that point. if you paid 200k for a domain and have come to the realization that it was a stupid decision, holding onto the domain will not make that 200k come back. any recovery of cash in these situations is a good thing.. even a measly $6,000. past financial decisions should not affect future ones.
