Marc Randolph from Netflix said on X that Flix.com was willing to deal.
So I checked the creation dates:
Which raises a real question:
Why didn’t Marc register flix.com on the same day they registered netflix.com?
Am I missing something here?
Was Flix.com a dropped domain?
Was it owned earlier and then re-registered?
Or was it somehow more expensive at the time?
Netflix clearly had money, they were even considering paying $50,000 for Replay.com.
So what’s the story here? Ideas?
