Flip, devlop, or park?

Out of these three what yields the most money in the long run?

I was wanting to take a group of domains related to a certain sector in financial markets I think will boom within the next year or so.

I think I could resell them for a decent price, or I could just park them and hope th money trickles in. Or I could do slight development, like a blog and use a PPC service.

For the long term which of those 3 do you think would be best?

Generally, the developed names sell for more. However if you happen to have LLL.com or LLLL.com you may do well to hold them for a while and then sell them. Park them in the meantime.

I can only speak for myself, but if you are looking for long term, then naturally flipping probably isn't for you. However, if you are expecting this boom to be somehow commercialized, then this may be the time to get it up and sell it. Otherwise, just keep it and wait for that offer. If you are very sure about the name's value, then register it for 5 years instead of 1. But if you do anything, at least do this: develop the good ones. Trust me on this.

I would develop them, but only if you are going to put some effort into it and not just slap something up.

The resale value will be higher when you do sell if you have traffic, backlinks, and proof of income. You can also submit to search engines and directories to get links and traffic and you can't do that with most parking services.

That way you would have a chance to generate some income while waiting for sales that may or may not ever come.

Developing a website is the best long term option, but you need to spend time promoting the site

it all depends on the domain portfolio that you have, but mostly development is the way to go.

If you can yourself develop, then definitely development is the way to go.

If you cant, then you will need to invest in the development of a website, and also be actively working towards generating enough content to get traffic and thus earn a revenue.

For me, developing a full grown site has its advantages and disadvantages both.
I would much rather spend more time in buying domains at bargain prices and reselling them.

But yes, if u have the time, money and vision, development makes more sense.

Parking is something i havent learnt to like till now though.
