Flash portfolio site

Hi all

This is my first proper stab at a portfolio site since I graduated: www.ashleybrowning.com

I chose to build it entirely in Flash because I am primarily looking for work in that area, but have also included samples of print-based work. Your comments, criticisms and general feedback on both the design and content would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see much "design" to be honest, it's nearly impossible to browse the site even when there's help text provided. There's not much point having 'tool-tips' if no one can read the 6px size text.

When making a website, one should always design for usability not necessarily aesthetics. Go ahead and make it look pretty and eye-catching, but if visitors have to 'figure out' how to get to a certain area then you'll probably lose 99% of your potential employers.

Remember that you're not making an art site, you're making a portfolio of your art and design. Think of an art gallery - It's like a walk-in portfolio and you don't have to step over the artwork.

I think your designs in general are good but your site lacks creativity. Also 2 of 3 the launches did not work in FF.
