Flash: Artwork over the FLVPlayback component

I have written in the flvplayback component so I can use a custom UI. The problem is, I want to have custom artwork placed over the component. If I simply drag the component to the stage, I can just have artwork in a layer over the component, but then I can't have the custom UI. But when I write in the component using actionscript, it always appears on top of everything.

How can I specify the layer in which to write the FLVPlayback Component?

You can still use a custom UI for the FLVplayback component if you drag it onto the stage.

Drag it onto the stage, select it and in your parameters window you have a skin parameter which will let you pick a .swf file to use as the UI.
