I recently picked up fixwindows.com and was wondering what the more seasoned would think for value?

I think this is nice because you don't really need to worry about copyright issues - as long as you develop it into a home improvement site

I figure its a good buy as this site used to be a big deal with tons of traffic. For some reason the guy got to busy to run it and just gave it up. Wish I could have got all the content it had as well.

I have just recieved an offer for 1000.00 for fixwindows.com. I am getting an average of about 500 views per day. Should I sell it or hold out for more?

Do not sell for $1000; it's worth much more. 500 hits per day is great. Up to you, but a little patience and marketing will truly pay off....I wouldn't even consider anything under 4K. Go look at the latest DNJournal.com and how much some lame names got. If you are truly going to sell it for $1000, you'll kick yourself later.
