First Valid Layout

I finally wrote the code for my new website.

It will essentially be competition to sites like Purevolume and Bandspace, with a lot more focus on bands locally that you can find in your own town.

Please take a look at this layout and critique for:

In XHTML, enumerated attribute values are case sensitive and must be lowercase. Instead of "Submit", use "submit". This is in contrast to HTML, where values are normally case-insensitive.

Looks pretty good to me, nicely done.

Was that the only validation error? I used dreamweaver and it gave me no errors, but Ill fix that.

My plan is that after I launch this site, I will launch other sites with different names and layouts, but essentially do the same thing and have the same database, etc. They will all be under one network, so that I control many sites instead of just one. I dont know if that's a good idea. At first it seemed a little deceptive and unethical, but I will publicly note that they are the same.
Anyways, about the darkness, is the text hard to read?
And on a sidenote:
Do you think the different boxes in the Find Music div look alright?

Not deceptive and unethical. I am not aware of any legal problems with it either. If you want, just put "Part of the ... network" at the bottom, under the copyright info.

Color Choice - best suite those type of sites.
Overall Style - great style most probably a template i could be wrong.
Content - overall great but the links are not functional yet
Form Judgment - one word: "band" comes to mind when viewing it.
Tangibility of Cencept - that i can't tell im no music or band lover.
Anything Else - overall ok
