Hello,

First time selling a domain here. Someone making offers for the domain on one of the leading domain marketplace and also Domain broker from another domain marketplace reached out. I believe they're both the same person.

Some questions I have for you pros :)
- How long does negotiations usually take from your experience when they're really interested? I can tell they're really interested because they're making decent $ offers. But I still believe it's too low, so I won't accept until we meet somewhere I think is fair. It's been going for couple of months now.
- How does paying taxes work if you end up selling a domain? Do you pay taxes on the full amount since these websites charges you a 15% - 20%? I live in the US.
- Do you recommend setting up an actual webpage with contact form? So if they visit the website they can contact me directly so I won't have to pay 15% - 20% fee for selling the domain thru domain marketplace?
- Since I own the .com do you recommend me purchase the .net, .org etc. just in case? I have a feeling it's a business or startup interested in the name. Not an individual.
- Any other advice do you have for me?

Thanks

first of all,Domain name must be preferred.com

About the need for a broker,It depends on what you know about the domain name.If you have a full understanding of the value of the domain name, the corresponding end users, then you can hang it on sales page, waiting for the buyer to contact; If you don't, it's best to seek the help of a broker

hope it helps ,have a good day
