discuss First time domain registration cost

Hi all,

I just wanted to know if there are any websites that offer discounts (like $.99 or alike) when you register very first domain with them?

In else case, if any other discount coupons (from $1-$3 etc) available for any other RELIABLE domain registrar, you can mention it.

Note: Domain.com and 1&1 are not reliable so wouldn't consider them.

Looking forward to hear from your experiences.

Mods if this thread fits in any other section, kindly shift there as I thought this place is correct for it.

I have been trying to register domains there since many days, not a single email was received until I got them on Chat again and again. Then chat correspondent told me that I ll receive email within 24 hours, but never got that day. I pinged them again and then fortunately, received an email though after waiting for it quite longer. Actually, they sent me an email to try to register again with same details, I did so. In response, I received another email saying "offer has been expired"... may be, intention was to neglect responses until offer period gets over. This was my first time experience with them.

2 days ago, when someone posted here in some thread regarding new domain.com offers, I just started trying again but of no use. Website gets stuck after I Add domain. I refreshed page again and again while writing and choosing my require domain, but it does not take me ahead of it.

In addition, I just read anyone here was quoting that the company that owns this website is not much reliable so, better to stay away unless you are offered of $.99 or something cheap domain reg.

Im regging with them at $2.99 no problem so far , just a misunderstanding with the account but no big issues

I'm not the only one facing issues there for domain registration but many others have reported too. Plus, many members like,me are even unable to create account there.
It's obvious that people like you who are using the site smoothly are fewer than people like me facing many issues there.

It would be great if any support/team member from Domain.com looks after these matters here at NPs so everyone may use the site without issues.
