Firefox referrals.. INTERNATIONAL WOOOT

Is anyone having luck with the FF referals? I think there's a chance of having better luck with the 'This site is monetized by Google Adsense" buttons. A majority of the visitors on my sites already use FF and even if they don't, I'd have to hope they download the Google toolbar or whatever it is that they need to do for you to get paid. And isn't it only $1/referal for FireFox? IMHO you're better off just going with the Adsense button, hoping someone starts a site and gets accepted, and then reached $100 at some point so you'll get paid $100 as well. Just my thoughts.

I prefer firefox as adsense is for publishers... Any normal visiter/web surfer will not have any need for adsense. They do have a need to get away from IE. I see it as a much easier convertion.

BTW they are directed to a link where they download firefox with google TB installed already so its only a one click download and its $1.00 for you

Ah, I get you - thank you for explaining that to me tgo! I thought they need to download FireFox and the Google Toolbar seperately (which most people couldn't be arsed to do probably).

Nevermind what I said, I guess it's time to add a FireFox button to my site as well. :P

My initial results were positive, but I've seen a steady decline in folks that install the program successfully (Clicks show as going through (tracker), but credit never shows up).
Even still, I do like FireFox for the addons and to get a buck or two for promoting... heck, why not?

I think the success of FF refferals depends on the content of the site. If they're displayed on a forum where regular internet users like us already know about FF they wont work well. I'm going to try them out anyway.
