I am interested in a domain name having something to do with fine art. I'd like it to be at least a year old but it doesn't have to have traffic. I am a portrait artist and I'd like to start a site about portrait art.

Portrait (.) mobi

If you can consider using a dot mobi name, I have one of the most appropriate to your occupation:
Portrait (dot) mobi

I have seen posts/articles written about companies using a dot mobi name as their main site. My understanding of this approach is that one designs the site to conform to .mobi standards by structuring the main pages to mobile design parameters. Other subdirectories on the site can then contain larger pages and graphics. This will work well as long as links to the larger pages are noted as such.
