I figured it could be shopped to owner of either the .com or .CA what should my asking price be? I was thinking 300-500 range but wanted the opinion of someone a bit more experienced.

Find Internet dot net - Low hundreds, to the right buyer

.net is a difficult sale but the keywords are decent and hence, if you end up selling, this would be worth mid xxx maybe. I suggest you renew it and put it on Afternic, Sedo, Dan etc
